Active Duty members, Reservists, National Guard members, Veterans within one year of discharge date and Retirees - including their spouses - of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard can all take advantage of these helpful savings.

How the discount works:

To take advantage of this opportunity, you'll need an authorization number. Authorization numbers may be requested for the purchase or lease of two (2) vehicles per calendar year.

FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNT

We're proud to announce this exciting addition to our impressive roster of discount programs for our emergency first responders.

This new program is open to eligible paid or volunteer Firefighters, Police — including Police Officers, Sheriffs/Sheriff's Deputy, Correctional Officers, State Troopers and Federal Law Enforcement Officers — EMTs/Paramedics and 911 Dispatchers.

The program starts June 1, 2018 and will offer a discount (GM Supplier Price) to eligible First Responders.

Eligible vehicle brands included in the program are Chevrolet, Buick and GMC.


MORE INFORMATION 
Firefighters, Police, EMT / Paramedic Verification:
GM will be utilizing First Responder ID (ID.me) to verify program eligibility criteria is met for Firefighters (paid or volunteer), Police — including Police Officers, Sheriffs/Sheriff's Deputy, Correctional Officers, State Troopers and Federal Law Enforcement Officers — EMTs/Paramedic. Once verified they will be able to obtain an Authorization Code for the discount. Bring your authorization code and a copy of your driver's license to the dealership.

911 Dispatch Verification:
911 Dispatchers will create an account at www.gmfirstrepsonder by clicking on “ XXXXX." Once they have created an account they will be able to receive their Authorization Code. Bring your authorization code and a copy of your driver's license to the dealership. You will also need to provide a copy of a valid and current year 911 training and education document, or 911 card that contains the Participant's full name.

Q: Who is included in the program?
A: This program is open to active and eligible paid or volunteer Firefighters, Police — including Police Officers, Sheriffs/Sheriff's Deputy, Correctional Officers, State Troopers and Federal Law Enforcement Officers — EMTs/Paramedics and 911 Dispatchers.
Q: Will the First Responder program offer Supplier pricing?
A: Yes, it will.
Q: Does the dealer need to verify the GM First Responder discount using any specific verification documents?
A: Firefighters/Police/EMTs/Paramedics: Customers in these professions must be verified through GM First Responder ID (ID.me), similar to the Military Discount Program. Also, customers must present a valid authorization number and a copy of their driver's license.

Customers who are 911 Dispatchers must sign up directly on the program site and will not be verified through ID.me at this time.
Aside from a valid authorization number, 911 Dispatchers must present the following at time of purchase:

1. A valid, current 911 training and education document or a 911 card that contains The Participant's full name.
2. A copy of The Participant's driver's license.
